To develop a strong foundation for students, instruction and curriculum in our preschool classes are delivered entirely in French.
As students progress to higher grades, they spend increasingly more time with English teachers; 12% of their time in Kindergaten (45min per day 4 times a week), and 25% of their time in the elementary school ( 2 hours a day 4 days a week).
NO FRENCH KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED for students entering preschool.
Some knowledge is preferred for kindergarten, but no worries, we can help your child reach the required level.
A test will be administered before acceptance in the elementary school so we can help your child progress better.
You do not need to speak French at home to enroll your child in the French International School of Raleigh.
