January 2026 Newsletter!!

Dear Families,

We are happy to share with you the highlights of L'ÉCOLE life during January 2026. This first month of the New Year was filled with learning activities, special moments, and shared celebrations.

👑 Galette des Rois

The children celebrated "Galette des Rois" at L'École. They enjoyed discovering this french culinary traditional event and sharing a friendly moment together.

🕊️ Memorial Ceremony

A memorial ceremony was held to honor the life of L'École director. Mrs Marie-Claire RIBEILL. It was a calm and respectful moment for L'École parents, friends and community to remember and pay tribute.

🚒 Fire Drill

A fire drill was organized at L'Écoles. Students practiced evacuation procedures and followed safety instructions very well in good spirits and discipline.

☁️ Weather Learning – Little Section 2

Little Section 2 worked on learning about the weather, discovering different types of weather through simple activities and discussions.

🏷️ Name Label Recognition – Welcoming Class

In the Welcoming Class, children practiced recognizing the labels with their names, helping them build independence and early reading skills.

📖 Story Reading – GS Class

The GS class enjoyed reading the book Fussy Freya, encouraging listening skills and discussions about emotions and behavior. Thank you to Mrs. Buster for her visit

🪐 Solar System – CP Class

The CP class studied the solar system, learning about planets and space with great curiosity and enthusiasm.

🤸 Gymnastics Practice

Students took part in gymnastics practice, developing coordination, balance, and motor skills.

🎉 Teachers’ Birthday Celebration

We also celebrated Maitresses Claire and Bijou’s birthday, sharing a joyful moment together as a school community.
