Who Can Apply for an Opportunity Scholarship?
Opportunity Scholarships are available to North Carolina families with students entering kindergarten through 12th grade.
How Much Financial Assistance is Available?
Scholarship awards range from approximately $3,000 to $7,000, depending on household income.
What are the eligibility criteria for school scholarships?
To qualify for a scholarship, you must:

Be registered with the French consulate (more information in this article);

No longer receive family benefits from the CAF (a certificate of deregistration is required for families whose children previously resided in France).
Your child must:

Be of French nationality (proof of nationality will be required);

Be at least 3 years old by December 31, 2025;

Reside with their family (father, mother, or legal guardian) within the consular district of Atlanta;

Be registered with the consulate along with at least one parent (more information in this article);

Be enrolled or in the process of enrolling in a school accredited by the French Ministry of Education.

The Elizabeth King Scholarship Fund stands as a tribute to the remarkable legacy of our school's first English teacher.
In loving memory of Elizabeth, her family graciously directed contributions to L'école in place of flowers.
From this heartfelt gesture emerged a profound inspiration – the establishment of a scholarship fund in honor of Elizabeth. This fund serves as a beacon of hope and opportunity, ensuring that her passion for education lives on in the lives of students.
Notably, the school has supported five children with a total contribution of $51,560 towards their education. The Elizabeth Scholarship Fund represents 15% of this total, illustrating the significant impact it has already made in fulfilling Elizabeth's vision of providing quality education for all.
