At L’École – French International School of Raleigh, we are committed to making high-quality French bilingual education accessible to as many families as possible. Several scholarship and financial assistance opportunities are available to eligible families, each with its own eligibility requirements, application process, and conditions.
L’École – French International School of Raleigh participates in the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program, which helps eligible North Carolina families pay tuition and required fees at participating private schools.
The program is administered by the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA). Eligibility, award amounts, application deadlines, funding availability, and program requirements are determined by NCSEAA.

French families may be eligible for need-based financial assistance from the French government to help cover school tuition.
To qualify, the student must meet specific eligibility requirements, including French citizenship and registration with the appropriate French Consulate. Eligibility and award amounts are determined based on each family's individual circumstances and financial resources.
The scholarship program is administered by the French government and the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE). L’École does not determine eligibility or scholarship award amounts.

The Elizabeth King Scholarship Fund was established in loving memory of Elizabeth King, L’École’s first English teacher, whose dedication to education and care for her students left a lasting impact on our school community.
Following Elizabeth’s passing, her family generously asked that donations be made to L’École in lieu of flowers. Inspired by this meaningful gesture, the school established a scholarship fund in her honor to help make a quality bilingual education more accessible to families in need.
Funded through the generosity of donors, the Elizabeth King Scholarship continues Elizabeth’s legacy by providing financial assistance to eligible L’École families and creating opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
Through this scholarship, Elizabeth’s passion for education and her commitment to nurturing young minds continue to live on at L’École.
