Dear Community,

February has been an exciting month filled with celebrations, creativity, and community spirit! Here are some of the wonderful moments we shared this month.

Valentine’s Day 

Love and friendship filled the air at L’école as our students celebrated Valentine’s Day with joy and kindness! The children exchanged heartfelt cards, sweet treats, and thoughtful presents, making this day special. Every moment was warm and happy, from delicious snacks to festive decorations. We thank our fantastic PTA for transforming our school with beautiful decorations that added a magical touch to the celebration! Your support and dedication make events like these truly unforgettable.

 La Chandeleur - Crêpe Day 

Our students had a fantastic time celebrating La Chandeleur at school! This beloved French tradition marks the return of longer days and the promise of spring. To honor the occasion, we enjoyed delicious homemade crêpes, filling the school with warmth and the delightful aroma of this special treat. It was an excellent way to embrace French culture and share a meaningful tradition!

Chinese New Year Celebration 

Our Grande Section (Kindergarten) students fully immersed themselves in Chinese New Year traditions with various engaging activities. They learned how to make dumplings using play dough, created traditional masks, practiced writing Chinese characters, and discovered the meaning behind the different zodiac animals for each year. To complete the experience, they had the opportunity to taste traditional Chinese food, making this celebration both educational and delicious!

A special thank you to the wonderful parents who joined us to present and help during the festivities!

Camp Adventures! 

Campers cooked crêpes and a yogurt cake, tasting French cuisine while learning basic cooking skills.
